Fender Tone

I have Fender mustang micro. It’s really good but this stupid app can’t find it.

Is it possible to connect ios via an adapter to a combo (by USB) and so that the attachment can see the combo for tuning? or just bluetooth? mustang1 (v2) model?

This app is almost useless for me with my brand new Mustang GTX50 because all its claimed functionality is blocked. Each attempt of doing something in the app is followed by “functionality is limited, amp firmware update is required” while amp is not able to update because of some issues on fender firmware cloud storage. Taking into account that the latest GTX50 firmware changelog shows just minor changes like menu items re-ordering and some new presets that i dont need, all this disaster with “limited functionality” is totally ridiculous. I bought GTX50 amp for more than 500 USD (thats the price in Russia) and it is fully unfunctional. Shame on you Fender! You sell untested junk for premium price under “Fender” brand and do not even maintain your products as expected to be for this price. Please fix amps update issue asap or remove ridiculous constraints on fw version in tone app!!! Update: after series of complaints I was able to exchange my GTX50 in the store where amp was originally bought. New amp (same GTX50) updated to newer fw smoothly, tone app is working fine, issue is closed. However question to Fender - what is wrong, why Fender QA is so weak? Nowdays this is strange to buy brand new item and find it faulty out of the box.

After update to last version the app can not connect to my GT40. Firmware at GT40 is 3.0.31 no any other BlueTooth connection to device or to GT40. The Tone app can see the GT40 but after trying to connect it says that it needs to be update to the last version. All procedures from help topics does not help. So now I have up to date Fender Tone app and GT40 but I can not use them in a pair! (( P.S. Problem solved! Just delete the app from iPhone/iPad and install it again. Something wrong with update process.

Хорошее и удобное приложение, но вот не хватает поддержки русского языка на ios и для ipad полноценной планшетной версии))

Hello Fender! Thank you allot for the app. It makes the whole process much easier and pleasant. The one and only thing to change-make Tone app to work over WiFi since it competes against Bluetooth streaming. That’s it. Great amp and great companion app!

Обсалютно не юзер Френдли

Самое бесполезное придожение, если учесть что оно постоянно просит обновить усилитель. Я его обновил, проверил на сайте - так и есть, прошивка последняя, обновлений больше нет. Но приложение пишет, мол, функционал ограничен, обновите комбик. ДА КУДА Я ЕГО МАТЬ ВАШУ ОБНОВЛЮ, ВСЕ, 1.3.5 последняя версия! Я не знаю как вы будете это исправлять но исправляйте. Комбик mustang gt 40. Я не для того 20000 рублей отдал чтобы пользоваться цифровым комбиком как аналоговым! Upd: thnx guys for your update now everything works normally.
